Hellebore

Hellebore: pressed at our London studio using traditional methods, mounted on light blue 1400 micron board. This specimen is set within a scored border, with its plant name in calligraphy. 

Available unframed or framed with UV coated conservation glazing to offer maximum protection from exposure to light. 

A winter-flowering perennial, hellebores will self-seed and come back year after year. To enable the plant to continue in the garden the following year, you will have to resist the urge to cut for pressing and wait for the first seedheads to form.

We advise hanging your pressed specimens away from direct sunlight. Pressed botanicals will inevitably lose colour over time, although they will never lose their form. We like to celebrate this as part of a plant's ephemeral nature.
