Create Academy Presents: Flower Pressing with JamJar Edit at Thyme.
This Autumn, Thyme have launched a series of in person talks, workshops and events with Create Academy instructors. Join us for a morning or afternoon to learn the art of flower pressing. A moment to pause for thought, slow down, and connect with nature.
The workshop includes a walk around the cutting garden for inspiration. We will demonstrate the art of flower pressing, including how to select and prepare your flowers and techniques for getting the best results. With our guidance, you will choose a variety of flowers to press in a flower press which is yours to keep at the end of the workshop. You will also work with pre-pressed flowers which been pressed for you and be guided through techniques for composing and mounting your pressed flowers. You will make your own A5 artwork to take home.
